In today’s news, The NDP tables a Bill seeking to criminalize residential school ‘denialism,’ Netflix cuts Canadian arts funding in response to Trudeau’s Online Streaming Act, Study exposes legacy media for cheerleading Liberal programs while ignoring soaring costs, Argentina and Venezuela issue arrest warrants for each other’s leaders, and much more.
Until Cdns read the book Grave Error for a comprehensive understanding of the rez schools they really don’t have an informed opinion on topic. Divisive lies and misrepresentation don’t solve anyone’s problems…nor does brainwashing a generation of our school aged kids with emotional shame based on half truth.
Is the "criminalization of 'denialism'" the real issue or is the NDP simply taking a back door swipe at Christian schools and Christianity in general? I'm never sure with that mini-Liberal Party just what they have in mind as their end game.
